November 17, 2009: Vampire Kisses is an awsome series! I first heard of it on TEENHARPER.COM. And there was this part that said are you a lover, fighter, or biter and i'm all three. When i went under lover I saw this book! Raven is an awsome goth girl. She doesn't shave her head go all gloom or anything. Yeah she wears black fingernail plaiosh, and black lipstick but she has a peppy freiend named Becky, and Becky's boy-friend Matt. Then she meets a goth boy named Alexandier. And hes a vampire who will stop at nothing to protect Raven or her family but it's mostly Raven. Check out the books and you won't be disappionted.

October 13, 2009: In this installment Raven finally meets Alexander's parents and is confronted by a challenge which puts her relationship with Alexander at risk. Alexander matures in this episode, but Raven remains unchanged. I read this series with my niece, and both of us agree that Raven's bottom-line indecision regarding vampirism is annoying. She craves the vampire life but whenever she's confronted by that possibility she backs down. In this story she again wants to be a vamp, but her transformation is never seriously considered. This story was ok, but it wasn't as compelling as some of the earlier books.
