June 17, 2009: Who ever thought there could be such a thing as a zombie romance novel? Marianne Mancusi has done it! The plot is entertaining - after a great plague has killed nearly every last human on the planet, the few remaining survivors have hope to rebuild society ....starting at Disney World, where the heroine's father promises a new start. But after six years of living isolated in a bunker, the future looks bleak, with skeletons scattered everywhere and scared survivors fending off hungry zombies...... The pace was well set, with a good balance of action, suspense and romance, and the characters were quite lovable. Readers may become annoyed though when every other chapter is a flashback. The chapters switch from: present - past - present - past for the entire book. The ending was also very rushed. It was like Mancusi ran out of time and did the whole climax of her book in the time it takes to eat lunch. I was sitting there in the last pages saying, "Woah... wait... what?! ....where'd all the details go?" Mancusi is a better writer than that, and I felt robbed of getting my fill of what happened when all the loose ends were tied up. But despite that, the book was still very enjoyable. It's worth reading, and it's certainly entertaining.
I Also Recommend: Night Life (Nocturne City Series #1), Moongazer (Shomi Series), Countdown, City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments Series #1).

February 09, 2009: It was an interesting story line. An easy and enjoyable read. The characters perhaps weren't as developed or as deep as I would have liked to see...but I would recommend it if your looking for something different.
