Features:Ranging from surgical physiology to the surgical subspecialties such as orthopedics and urology, this book covers the breadth of the field of general surgery. It is well organized and well written, and the chapters are concise and easy to read. The illustrations are simple, yet depict the subject matter effectively.
Assessment:The authors have succeeded in providing a succinct review of general surgery. The reader is not inundated with unnecessary details and the important information in each topic is presented in a very understandable manner. The study questions are well written and are useful in reinforcing the material. This edition is much better than the previous one.
