Excellent reading?
Paula Quinn knows how to write Historical romance. Her characters bring life to the pages. The story draws you in immediately and keeps you turning the pages. Nothing is predictable, and it kept me on the edge in an attempt to figure out who to trust. The relationship between Graham and Claire had just enough sizzle and lively exchange to make them believable and extremely likeable. The book flowed easily to a dramatic conclusion that did not make me feel cheated. I will definitely look for other books by this author and will set this book aside as a must-read-again.

August 25, 2008: What can I say aboot this, you give me a braw laddy wearing a kilt swinging a claymore in one hand and a sword in the other fighting for the good of Scotland and makin love to his lassie. Well who could want more. Ms Quinn is one of my favorite Highland writers, her novels are very touching, sensual and full of action and this one is no different and left me as always longing for the Highlands
