March 27, 2006: As a dog behavior consultant and trainer I frequently work with parents seeking to prepare their dogs for the new arrival or who are already parents and experiencing difficulties with the family dog. This book provides excellent support with easy to follow, practical, step-by-step exercises, useful photos depicting dog behavior cues, a realistic portrayal of the parent-dog-child relationship and wonderful resources. It encompasses dog-child interaction from infancy to teen. I am delighted to have Happy Kids, Happy Dogs to recommend to my clients.
