      Synopsis

It's not always easy being a female warrior with a nickname like Annwyl the Bloody. Men tend to either cower in fear-a lot-or else salute. It's true that Annwyl has a knack for decapitating legions of her ruthless brother's soldiers without pausing for breath. But just once it would be nice to be able to really talk to a man, the way she can talk to Fearghus the Destroyer.

Too bad that Fearghus is a dragon, of the large, scaly, and deadly type. With him, Annwyl feels safe-a far cry from the feelings aroused by the hard-bodied, arrogant knight Fearghus has arranged to help train her for battle. With her days spent fighting a man who fills her with fierce, heady desire, and her nights spent in the company of a magical creature who could smite a village just by exhaling, Annwyl is sure life couldn't get any stranger.
      She's wrong.

November 17, 2009: I reserve my reviews for the very best of books or to warn those of the worst. This is one of the BEST! It is Fun,Fast pase Adventure,Sexy, Steamy Romance, at one point I couldn't decide if I was for the Dragon or the Knight...oh yeah they are the same. Still you love the dragon and lust after the Man. I'm working hard for no spoilers. The female lead is strong with a strong male lead. The other characters of the dragon's family add the perfect blend to this really great read. These same characters show up in the next book and the author builds on them. Genius! I couldn't put it down. Now to be warned there are some graphic love scenes but I like Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter also. The second in this series is my favorite so far. HOT HOT HOT! and I couldn't stop Laughing! This series is a keeper for my personal library.I have already recommended this to my all my friends and bought my Mom her copies. I hope you all enjoy them also.

I Also Recommend: The Nymph King (Gena Showalter's Atlantis Series #3), Heart of the Dragon (Gena Showalter's Atlantis Series #1), The Vampire's Bride (Gena Showalter's Atlantis Series #4), A Hunger like No Other (Immortals after Dark Series #1), About a Dragon.

October 13, 2009: Wow!!! This is the first romance novel I have read with dragons in it, and I likey! The description is enticing not overboard. The characters are complex and individuals. Tons of sarcasm and comedy. The leading lady is one tought chick, not even afraid of a freaking dragon! The plot is entertaining and exciting. The author throws a few twists here and there. A real page turner just in the fact of the herione and her relationship with the dragons she stays with. This is the first in a series revolving around the family of dragons. There are like four or five brothers and two or three sisters. You even get a short story at the end of this one that tells the beginning of the dragons parents and how they got together. Fascinating read!!!
