September 04, 2007: First of all, of the various versions of 'Think and Grow Rich' that are out there, this one is my favorite. The Editor has really done his homework to bring Napoleon Hill's Original work into historical context without bringing in modern day examples like other versions do. Secondly, I highly recommend reading this book at the rate of a chapter a week with a group study. I had read this book by myself before, but have really accelerated my Awareness by reading it every 3-4 months with a different group of people or entrepreneurs. You don't have to do it that often, but each time you read this book, you get more and more out of it! Finally, don't just read the book, but follow the specific instructions laid out in the book. This is the book that every success book out there is based on...it's the original. Do this, and you'll find greatness.

April 09, 2007: This book is the granddaddy of all other 'how to make money books.' It started when a billionaire took in a smart young kid and assigned him to collect and organize the secrets of the world's wealthiest, and most powerful men. (Yes, this is the basis of 'The Secret.') To this day, there ha not been a more concise and exact road map to success. You cannot fight the laws of success that are in this book. They are easy to use (we all do them every day, whether we know it - or like it - or not), and they always work. The material comes across as dated, but that is no small part of its charm. This book is about a golden age of empire building, one that launched America onto the world stage, and into a super power. Attempts have been made to 'update' this text by changing the examples to wealthy individuals of modern times, but that just destroys the text, as surely as if Barney the dinosaur were to replace Moses in the bible to 'keep the story fresh.' Barney is (hopefully, and thankfully) a thing of the past, whereas the men described in this (the original text) book are legends of empire-capitalism. What they knew (and revealed here in plain, easy to understand and assimilate english) was (and is) directly responsible for the creation of their wealth, the blossoming of America, and will make you wealthy (if you desire) and more popular (if you like) than you can dream of now. If you liked 'The Secret' at all, you MUST read this book (Napoleon Hill admonishes at least 3 times). Somewhere between the second and third time though it will really hit you. You will see your successes, and mistakes, and see how and why you are where you are now - and how to change your life in as little as a day. Everyone should read this book, because it is a manual for life.
