June 30, 2007: I tutor English as a second language, and I guided two of my students through this book in preparation for the TOEFL exam. Both students , who are young teenagers, have amazed me with high scores, and they report that the practice tests on this CD-ROM are very similar to the ones on the TOEFL exam. This book really helps students develop the skills they need. My students learned note-taking skills, summarizing, paraphrasing, and they were able to take 7 full length practice tests. The listening sections include lecturers who have a variety of accents, so it was very similar to the actual TOEFL exam.
