January 24, 2010: Christine Feehan's Dark series gives its own spin to the Vampire Legend. Her Carpathians are captivating. With every detail, you want to learn more about their history and before you know it, you're emotionally invested in the characters and their story. Ms. Feehan's books are more than just boy meets girl. She creates her own world and makes us want to share it.

January 19, 2010: I can't believe I wasted 9 bucks and 3 days trying to read this sorry excuse for a book. No plot, poorly defined (and REALLY annoying) characters, laughable dialog. And what's with the sex?? Trust me, I'm a big fan, but I do like a little story-line connecting the trysts every once in a while!! What a waste of an interesting premise. I am NOT a lit snob-- I've enjoyed quite a few literary rolls in the hay-- but this is SO not worth your time or money. Run in the other direction.
I Also Recommend: Outlander (Outlander Series #1), Dead until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Series #1) (True Blood), The Secret History of the Pink Carnation (Pink Carnation Series #1).
