October 18, 2004: This book has and is still helping me for about 4 years now. This book sits right next to my bed and has more highlights in it than a college book. I highly recommened this book to anyone with a child. It is a excellent light read and helps parents feel like there is hope.

September 06, 2001: It is really difficult to get information on how to assist children with a mild case of pervasive developmental disorder. And much of this book is not devoted to PDD. However, the book provides a great framework for how to address PDD issues. While primarily written for children with a higher severity of disorder than my son's, so many of the techniques were useful for how I interacted with my son. Thus, if your child has severe disorders, read this book. If your child has mild disorders read it anyway, because all the techniques that are useful for children with severe disorders will be helpful for ones with mild disorders.
