      Synopsis

When Alcatraz and Grandpa Smedry make a pilgrimage to the Free Kingdom city of Crystallia, the Smedry home base, Alcatraz is shocked to see that he is, in fact, a legend. When he was a baby he was stolen by the Evil Librarians, and his mother, a Librarian herself, was behind the whole scheme. Now, with his estranged father, who is acting indeed strange, Bastille, who has been stripped of her armor, and Grandpa Smedry, who is, as always, late to everything (that's his Talent), Alcatraz tries to save a city under siege. From who? Why, the Librarians of course!

Another FANTASTIC Alcatraz book - not at all like fish sticks!by crazy_aggie

October 15, 2009: What is the opposite of disappointment? Because whatever that is, it perfectly describes this book.

The whole series is too fun - are we sure they're books?

But of course they are, and here in the Hushlands really good books aren't easy to find.

In this latest volume, our hero Alcatraz travels to his homeland Nalhalla and continues to have weird adventures, all described in his "unique" style.

Don't be fooled into thinking it will be bad just because your teacher *recommends* it - they're trying use that psychology-stuff to trick you.

Read it to find out what our hero breaks this time!

Read it to find out what makes cousin Sing-Sing fall down!

Read it to meet more Smedrys with inconvenient Talents!

Read it to learn the real truth about fish sticks!

      Just read it!
