    November 22, 2000: Now that ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-1999 (Energy Conservation) will be incorporated into enforceable building codes in every state, the use of lighting systems more energy-efficient than the conventional incandescent, halogen and fluorescent lamps, combined with the Standard's wattage restrictions and controls can make compliance faster and easier.
