December 09, 2008: I adore Melissa Mayhue?s ability to sweep the reader away to her fae-filled Highlands. Many of you will remember high-spirited Mairi from the first book and if you loved her like I do, then you?ll be gaga for this book. And don?t forget Ramos! The bad boy from Highland Guardian is back-- more brooding and sexier than ever. The chemistry between these two is hot hot hot! And the twist at the end regarding Mairi?s fae gifts?I don?t want to spoil it for you but I have to say I can?t wait to see how this plays out in Mayhue?s next book. This series just keeps getting better!

This is, yet, another fantastic read, the third of the series, the hero, Ramos Servans was introduced in the previous novel, as a yummy bad boy turned good.
He was definitely just as yummy in this novel, with a macho streak that makes you want one of your own!
The heroine is a pretty little time-traveler who is somehow feisty and demure at the same time.
The chemistry between the two takes a little while to build up, but when it does, it boils through the rest of the book.
I couldn't put it down, and I will definitely recommend this to my friends, and I am looking forward to reading any work she has in the future. Soul of a highlander is a keeper! Try K S Michaels for another interesting yummy.
