Trixie Koontz, a good dog, was trained by Canine Companions for Independence to assist people with disabilities. Released from service because of elbow surgery, she went to live with Dean and Gerda Koontz. The successful author of three books, Trixie would be proud to know that her royalties are donated to CCI to pay medical bills for other assistance dogs.

December 01, 2009: She's done it again! Even better than her first book, Trixie Koontz has pawed a classic. I give it 5 stars for usefulness because it never fails to make me laugh... really laugh... tears down my cheeks laugh... howling laugh... GOOD dog, Trixie! GOOD dog! If you are cat person you will not like this book. If you love K9s this is for YOU!

August 01, 2009: This a wonderful book for the confirmed dog lover. Koontz loved Trixie with all his heart and she spoke to him with her wonderful personality and actions. As so many dog lovers know, if we could love and act with the unselfishness of our doggie companions life would would be so much nicer and we would be much happier. However, those who are not confirmed dog lovers may find the book too cute and miss the joy and love with which it is written.
