    Synopsis

As a beleaguered galaxy fights its way back from the brink of destruction, the Jedi’s most fearsome enemy plots to end the war–and claim victory–with a final act of domination. . . .

The troubles for the embattled living planet Zonama Sekot have just begun. As Luke Skywalker and Jacen Solo negotiate its place in the galactic struggle against the Yuuzhan Vong, one of its organic ships is taken by the alien invaders. Scientist Nen Yim is ordered to use the captive to find weak spots in Zonama Sekot’s technology. But what Nen Yim discovers about the planet and its mysteries shocks her to the core. Clearly her people have gone terribly astray. For the peace-loving planet harbors not only the key to its own destruction, but the long-forgotten secrets of the Yuuzhan Vong themselves.

Meanwhile, General Wedge Antilles, commanding one fleet in a three-pronged campaign to retake the Bilbringi system, is suddenly stranded deep in Yuuzhan Vong space, cut off from all contact. Wedge and his ships must rely on trickery and brilliant battle tactics if they are to survive long enough to ensure the success of one of the deadliest and most crucial missions the Galactic Alliance forces
    have ever seen. . . .

No Joke. The Best NJO book.by Mojobass

January 18, 2010: Quick read. Action-packed! Tahiri is awesome! Non Anor is bad-ass{even though I hate him}. Keyes culminates all of the NJO series in this jam packed book. The most enjoyable read for me since the Coruscant Night series{which was my favorite until finishing this book}. The Final Prophecy gives the entire NJO series substance. So good, it makes some of the earlier NJO books better in hindsight.

I Also Recommend: Star Wars The New Jedi Order, Star Wars Rogue Planet, Star Wars Coruscant Nights #1, Star Wars Coruscant Nights #2, Star Wars Coruscant Nights #3.

    December 13, 2009: hey all,

whell the first page to this book writes "the sercrets of the vong, who they are, where they came from, and what terriable forces drive them are finally exposed. DID I MISS SOMETHING- NONE OF THAT WAS EXPLAINED IN THIS BOOK. i was hoping to find out more about the vong and sekot in this book. did that happen? no. you learn that the planet and the vong are similiar in some ways but other than that its nothing momentual. the only good part of this book is nom anor as usual- the sly villian which makes this series a good read for the most part. without him it would be a little bland. again what was the final prohecy? didnt get any of that. where is r2 in this series? hes mentioned in the book with jade shadow but he doesnt do anything. I thought this book was better than the last 3 which were beyound boring. corran horn was nice to read again- a really good expanded universe character. I didnt like how both harrar and nen yim both died at the hands of nom anor. i can only imagine what happens in the final book.
