July 13, 2009: I really enjoyed this book as it is probably one of the most easiest to read organizing book that I have come across. It is organized by category and takes you through 52 weeks with a different assignment for each one. This book is one that you can pick up for 2 minutes and then follow one of the suggestions. You can start organizing and de-cluttering right away!

July 13, 2009: After reading way too many books on organization, and learning something from each, I learned the most from this book. It really is one of those books in which you do not have to read from beginning to end and then start in.
One can choose to read the chapter (any chapter) that they feel they need the most help with. This is motivating because the choice is yours. Then one can move on through the other organizational chapters fitting their particular needs at any specific time, place or point in their lives. I do emphasize that to get the most out of the book, write in it, or a journal, but do the exercises. They are thought-provoking and for me, the greatest stimulus to take a look at what I am doing now and what I really want to do and be like (i.e. a much more organized individual!)The awareness I have gained has been so beneficial. For it is through awareness that we see who we are and how we spend our time. Next comes change of habits ~ a bit harder to put things into action but NOT IMPOSSIBLE! ~ as you will discover in this book help and hope to continue on.The book is enjoyable to read because it is written in a form that makes one feel like "you can do this...you can become organized for here are the tools. Now put them to use in ways that will fit your lifestyle." Just remember, it is easy to become frustrated as one changes from a disorganized state of mind and being to an organized body and spirit.Just don't put the book down. Re-read the chapter or area of orgainzation in which you feel stuck. Or try another chapter. Just do not give up! You can become organized and this book is one of the best tools I have discovered! It is my hope and wish for all who do read this book that you, too, shall gain positive life-style changes as I have. Now I am on the journey of maintaining...no one said it would be easy to move from a disorganized state to an organized one AND that then you have to keep up the new habits. This book will take you on an engaging adventure to become organized and then to maintain. ENJOY!
