Have you ever idly wondered if you would know if God spoke to you? Really know, as Job and Moses knew, that God had spoken to them? What would the voice sound like, and perhaps more importantly, what would you say back?
God is a Big Fat Liar is a beginning. The work attempts to train the ear to listen, the tongue to speak, and the feet to follow. Readable, intimate and centered, God is a Big Fat Liar is God's enlightened and interpersonal nod to a Universe that has taught itself to fear God.
These pages exemplify the war of wills that ensues when anyone embarks upon a journey to find God, and to do God's work. It is our own doubt, fear, mistrust and interpretation of what God's nature might actually be that shifts our focus and leads us away from God in the first place.

Author Comments:
This title, like the book, is inspired by God. When I first heard this inspiration I enjoyed it, I laughed out loud. My response was something like, "Yeah, that would be funny." And then I dropped it. God did not drop it however and a few days later I heard this same urging. At this time I stopped cold in my tracks, looked to Heaven and said aloud, "Oh no - wait a minute, you can't be serious. If you want me to title this book God Is A Big Fat Liar you're really going to have to hit me hard with it. No more of this whispering, I'll have to hear you loud and clear." Over the following two weeks each time the title occurred to me again. And before I could intone my prayer of the previous days I was overcome. Transported actually, to the rare and wonderful place where emotion is a location, very near another realm. Here the joy and laughter were so intense this experience ranks as one of the most memorable times of my life. And I knew the book had a name.
