    Synopsis

A number of the books on groups in post-exilic Judah mention the possibility of a group that has an inclusive theological stance, but the authors fail to explore what this means for the community and post-exilic Judah. These scholars concentrate on the genesis of the Pharisees or the Samaritans, but not on the group that has been identified with an inclusive proclamation. Henderson, however, reads Isaiah 56-66 as a literary unit that results in new concepts of inclusiveness, including the possibility that Israel can no longer claim to be the sole chosen nation of Yhwh.
