November 11, 2007: This is book 2 of the True series and it is everything you could want in a romance. Alien worlds that come to life in you head, a compelling hero and heroine with chemistry, and the rarest of all things in a romance--tension and excitement. While I know romance novels guarantee a happy ending, there were several times in this book that I feared for Aedon or Kala. Or wasn't sure if they would be able to overcome the obstacles they faced. It keeps you turning pages, wanting to see how they get out of each situation--and to see the bad guy get his in the end. This one is on my keeper shelf. But then, ALL of Pat's books are.

November 06, 2007: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story is fast-paced and the characters are uniquely human. You can't help but get pulled into the drama of a planet fighting for its freedom. It's set in the future, but the story rings like a contemporary headline. Don't miss this great read.
