April 07, 2003: Thought book was good at intriducing new controls and writing custom controls.I think if you have developed in VB or ASP, this is a good book to get. It talks a lot about security, which is good but slightly overwhelming. I would recommend.

January 05, 2003: This book was a huge disappointment. I expected the book to teach ASP.Net "STEP BY STEP". I bet the first 180 pages is cut-and-paste from MSDN . Covering highly technical aspects of ASP.NET such as the security model early on was very suprising and not enlightening when you know nothing about ASP. I expected much more from MS Press and am going to send them a comment after I clear this page.
