      Synopsis

      Thought you knew Stuart Woods?

      Think again.

Undersea espionage meets heart- stopping suspense in this "amazingly original thriller"(Richard Condon, bestseling author of The Manchurian Candidate) from New York Times bestselling author Stuart Woods. CIA analyst Kate Rule goes head-to-head with a brilliant KGB operative who's the architect of a secret plot to invade Sweden. The thrilling story leads Rule through one death trap after another, and builds to a climactic scene in which a Russian nuclear submarine threatens the Swedish government.

      Annotation

Stuart Woods, the Edgar Award-winning author of Chiefs, "combines the hottest elements in thrillers these days--Soviet submarines, spies and sex--to create one of the most readable espionage novels since The Hunt for Red October" (Atlanta Journal/Constitution).

      Richard Condon

      An amazingly original thriller!

November 17, 2009: Stuart Woods' books are real page turners and hard to stop reading once you start. Even with a full work schedule, I usually finish them in a few days and await the next new book.

March 03, 2004: Deep Lie embodies the basic principles of the cold war (west vs. east), but with a new twist which makes this book hard to put down. This book was wrote during the early 80s and it can still keep a 21st century audience. Woods has done it again!
