New York Times bestselling author Karen Rose delivers another pulse-pounding suspense novel that ties into SCREAM FOR ME.
Five teenage girls have been murdered. One survived, and only she can reveal the secrets of a disturbing ring of people who kidnap and sell teenage girls on the black market. But those responsible for the crimes will do whatever it takes to maintain her silence.
Susannah Vartanian and Luke Papadopoulos have both sworn to stop the murderers for their own reasons. Susannah, the sister of the hero in SCREAM FOR ME, suffers from a mysterious past that is connected to the sinister black market. Luke is an investigative agent and a computer expert who refuses to let another child predator get away.
Susannah and Luke are instantly attracted to each other, but their troubled pasts prevent them from immediately acting upon their feelings. The case will lead them to the shady realm of Internet chat rooms, where anyone can mask their identity. As Susannah and Luke draw closer to the criminals, they discover a chain of deception so intricate they don't know who to trust. Susannah and Luke find comfort in one another's arms, but the killers are ruthless and determined, and will take extreme measures to insure their anonymity and keep their business intact.
Bestseller Rose concludes her thriller trilogy that began with Scream for Me and Die for Me with a bang. In Dutton, Ga., where 13 years earlier a secret rape club flourished among the bratty sons of the town's elite, an elderly monster known only as Charles and his depraved minions steal teenage girls to sell to perverts in a lucrative human trafficking scheme. Hot on their trail are the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's special agent Daniel Vartanian; his partner, special agent Luke Papadopoulos; and his long-suffering sister, Susannah Vartanian, a New York City ADA. A botched raid spurs the murders of five girls and the removal of abused "assets" to another hiding place. Two courageous teen survivors provide the GBI with help, but a mole in the GBI working for Charles complicates the takedown. Rose juggles a large cast, a huge body count and a complex plot with terrifying ease. The sweet romance between Luke and Susannah provides welcome relief from the many scenes of brutality. (Feb.)

August 28, 2009: This was another great book from Karen Rose. If you read "Scream for Me" then you have to read this book because it continues where that book left off. If you haven't read "Scream for Me" then I suggest you read that one first because they really intertwine and it could be confusing. " Kill for Me" was a very action packed, thought provoking book. It has you from the first page and doesn't stop until the end. Kudos to Karen Rose for another excellent read, I have yet to be disappointed with any of her stories. The story is a bit disturbing and some people may have issues with that, but in the end it was worth it. A fantastic book!

May 06, 2009: I could not put this book down. It was the first Karen Rose book that I've read. I bought it because I had a coupon and it sounded pretty good. I'm glad I picked it up. I'm usually really good at figuring out what's going to happen in a book and who the bad guys are and how they're going to get caught. Then I just read the book waiting for the moment when the author decides to reveal it, but this book was different. There was so much going on and so many different peices to the "round yellow puzzle" that I never saw what was coming until that moment when Rose revealed it. I love finding a book like this; one with a mystery that can't be easily solved. The characters were a mess of personel problems that made them even a mystery. The author did a great job developing them. The romance in this novel is about the only thing that is obvious. The twists and turns keep you on your toes constantly trying to figure out who these people are and why they would commit such horrible acts. But the anwser was simple: power. Power in killing, but even greater power in getting people to kill for you.
