September 19, 2009: The concept of the story line for the entire series is very refreshing.

The battles between witch and warlock, the discovery of a new witch's power, and the constant threat from daemons keep this book interesting. However as in the previous books of this series this book also contains just too much graphic sex in great detail. The sex is overdone, taking away from the story line. By the time you have reached the middle of this book, you may find yourself skipping over many pages of now "bedroom boredom" to get back to the action story line. I began to wonder if all the excessive sex was added as filler to pump up the total number of pages to this book???

I Also Recommend: Legend of the Jade Dragon (Chintz 'n China Mysteries Series #2), Murder under a Mystic Moon, A Harvest of Bones ( (Chintz and China Mystery Series #4).

August 01, 2009: Ms. Bast did an excellent job of expounding on previous characters and tying up loose ends in previous stories. I would certainly recommend reading her other books in this series first or key elements would be missed. However, even read alone this book is HOT!!
