November 05, 2004: This book is thought-provoking in a variety of ways: as a first-rate murder mystery, as a commentary on how our culture views its professional athletes, and as an insider's guide to the competitive mindset. It's also a first-rate read. Dr. Chlovechok knows his stuff and is equally skilled at telling a story. Enjoy.
