      October 16, 2000: Lindsey McCullough knocked herself out for the past five years to prove to everyone that being wheelchair bound did not prevent her from doing the job. Now her hard labor has paid off as curator Dr. Williamson has assigned her to prepare the ?Treasures of Arabia? exhibit for the Pacific Northwest Museum of History.

      As she works her way through the first of many crates, the last item she notices is a weird looking jar with beautiful engravings not listed on the invoice. Lindsey cleans the jar when suddenly smoke erupts. When the air clears, a jinni stands nearby. Kasim grants her first wish healing her severed spinal column. He next kisses her, which leads to her second wish that of freeing him, which he cannot directly grant because it impacts him. As they travel back to 500 AD Persia, she works to obtain her second wish and prays that once obtained, Kasim will send her home even if she is falling in love with him.

      ARABIAN KNIGHTS is a warm time travel romance with strong magical elements that hooks the audience from start to finish. Lindsey is a great character, a role model that readers will want to emulate. Kasim is heroic, perhaps because of his millennium plus activity as a jinni, and adapts quite nicely to the modern female. Tracy Cozzens provides fans with an action-packed time travel, enchanting romance.
