August 20, 2003: At first I was a skeptic of the book entitled 'Tales from the Mudhole', because I didn't think that a story about pigs could hold anyone's interest for very long, but as the old saying goes 'Never judge a book by its cover...' This book pulls you into the world of pigs, in a way that is totally unexpected. The pigs are personified and thus the reader starts to relate very much to them. I must admit, it takes a very talented writer to present realistic similarities between pigs and humans. Not only is this a fun read, but it allows for some inner contemplation. Its weird to think that as intelligent as humans are, we never stop to break down our lives to the simplest form, as Vally has showed us. I give this book two thumbs up. So Vally, when does 'A Day in the Life of a Tomato' hit stores?
