Dr. Carl Houseman, celebrated minister and speaker, is determined to find out what really happened to his wife, declared dead five years ago after her sailboat washed ashore on a coastal island of Maine. Private investigator Terri Blake-Addison must piece together the life of this woman who felt she didn't know or understand the God that her husband so faithfully served. Did Ellen really die in those cold Atlantic waters? When a murder rocks the island, Terri knows more is at stake than just the puzzling life of an unhappy minister's wife.

June 26, 2007: This series is the first I've read regarding a married PI and I found the new slant refreshing. Teri is sure to make a name for herself as a PI, in addition to a newlywed. This series is sure to be a great mystery series. I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves a good mystery.

August 19, 2004: This first novel in the Teri Blake-Addison Mystery Series is a hit! For those of you who enjoy a great mystery novel, by a Christian author, this one will keep you turning the pages. The writer leaves a lasting picture in your mind of what Grand Manan Island must look like, along with many interesting characters, Marnie, being one of my favorites. I can't wait for book #2 in this mystery series to arrive.
