    Synopsis

Social worker Jana Davis is thrilled when she learns her time moonlighting as an events planner is finally paying off. She's landed a huge deal to throw a party that will earn her some much-needed extra cash - and allow her to talk to San Diego's mayor about a proposed deal to tear down playgrounds and clubhouses for underprivileged kids and turn the space into over-priced condos and boutiques. It seems like a win-win situation - until she meets the designer for the project in question, handsome Reese McDonald. Jana is outraged when Reese immediately questions her motives, and she tries hard to ignore her attraction. Her vow not to give in to him works just fine until she lands a seat on the planning committee and sparks really start to fly, in and out of the boardroom...
