June 15, 2006: Ok, everyone knows Linda Howard is great. She is by far in my top three of favorite authors. It is unbelievable that this even came from her. Rhy is unbelievable and sounds like he needed a swift kick. Sallie is weak and wavering. Geez, I had trouble stomaching both of these characters. Write something about Chris (other reporter)..hey, I liked him! Please do not let book disuade you to any of her other work. She is an excellent writer with GREAT stories. This is just not one of them.

June 21, 2004: I agree with the others. The book description said that a woman re-invents herself after her husband leaves and then he ends up back in her life. Great, I thought; I'm all for independent women. What the description fails to say is that she lets him walk all over her, tell her what to do, force her out of her job and off the career path she loves, force her to move in with him and all of this is when he's not physically grabbing her. This is apparently all ok though since she loves him and the sex is great. Unfortunately, this was my first Linda Howard book, and it will be my last.
