      April 10, 2007: This is by far one of the best authors I've read in a long time. I just don't understand why a big time publisher hasn't picked her up yet. What are you waiting for, D.N. is sitting on a goldmine! This series has everything from drama, sexual tension, steamy sex scenes, graphic violence, nonstop action and a DIVERSE character base, meaning, gay, bi, straight, white, black, hispanic. D.N. doesn't fear anything and it shows in her writing. She's a must read author!

      September 26, 2006: This is one author that seems to just knock them out one by one. The first book Desires Unleashed was awesome, the second book, The Guilty Innocent was brilliant and this book is not slouching in any way. I can't say enough good things about this series, it's a must read for any true vampire/shape-shifter fan. The Royal Flush is action packed, great pacing, hot sex scenes that work well with the story instead of clashing with the plot and characters and speaking of characters, the characters in this series are amazing! Each character just breathes live into the story and reading these books is like watching a movie, that just how good the stories flow. The Royal Flush is about a group of big game hunters planning to kill themselves a few supernaturals, but one could say it's not going to be easy. The whole gang is back in this one and they aren't pulling any punches. Plus new characters are introduced and we get to see the beginnings of the vampire lore. I highly recommend this book, it's a must read!
