March 28, 2005: Delightful reading. Short stories of one woman's life experiences while growing up, and of the man she loves. Like reading the diary of a close friend with all the juicy parts.

January 24, 2005: Reading Snippets, by Carole Christie Moore Adams, gave me a unique opportunity to accomplish two goals, to broaden my reading scope beyond my usual choice of mysteries, and to re-acquaint myself with a cousin who I had not seen since we were children. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I dived in eagerly, hoping at least to discover the unknown events that had shaped her life since the last time we were together. It has been a pleasure to find much more than my anticipated description of events hiding among her pages. Many family blanks were filled in, but I was also able to glimpse a person that any family would gladly welcome into its fold. Recalling bits and pieces of our family?s early years, and the friends that have touched her and her husband as they grew together, triggered many nearly forgotten memories, but also closed the gaps caused by our separation. After finishing her book, any non-related reader will feel as if he/she has found, if not a cousin, at least a close friend.
