March 22, 2005: Although I believe this is the authors first book, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next one. The story is fast paced and includes many interesting plot twists along with a great amount of suspense and trechery. The author puts just enough geographical information in the book to make it memorable vs. trying to include a travel guide to fill up for story and he keeps focus on the plight of the characters. A great book...In my opinion.

February 25, 2005: My wife gave me this book and said she thought I'd like it, which of course made me doubtful. We rarely enjoy the same fictional books. This book is as good as any of the writers I enjoy i.e. DeMille, Morrell, Baldacci, Brown or Grisham. It kept me guessing until the end, fast paced and believable without a contrived ending. I really look forward to his next book
