October 05, 2007: this book is one of those that makes you think. it sure made me anyway. you can definatly get captivated in the story. you can relate to the fact that Simeon is wondering if he truley believes or not. as I got to the end I was wondering if his wife would forgive him and he would realize that Christ Jesus 'Yeshua' is the Lord and Savior. also when i saw his daughter it was just an amazing. especially when he is living with his wife, daughter, and 2 sons was the icing on the cake.

April 17, 2004: I read this book right before Easter, which made it all the more wonderful for me. When someone writes so well that their writing allows you to visualize what is happening, you know you have found a top notch writer/story teller. Sigmund Brouwer is this kind of writer; I am looking forward to reading more of his books.
