June 10, 2004: He Said Now is a fabulous romance novel but Pat Waddell doesn't stick to hearts and flowers. This is the story of a man who shuts down his emotions after his traumatic war experience in France. His bride makes many mistakes in a heart-wrenching attempt to help him heal. She succeeds, but at a price. They both win in the end. Get it. Read it. Now.

June 06, 2004: Fitch, the Earl of Ackerman is haunted by the horrors of a brutal war, and bears the nightmares and memories silently. Then he meets the very indepentant Hillary Compton and finds out he has an unknown daughter so proposes marriage as a way to rectify this error from his past. Soon, despite the Earls' thinking his only responsibility is to produce an heir, and HIllarys' genuine desire to be a 'real' wife, they realize that love and sharing can heal all wounds. A wonderful story, great characters, sensual, and keeps you reading! This book again proves Pats' mastery of words and is a must read. I LOVED IT!!
