From DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH, the first Patricia Waddell novel I read, to HE SAID NO, I have enjoyed Patricia Waddell's style of writing. She has rapidly moved to the ranks of an automatic buy for me . . . Her style is fresh and her characters wonderful. I am enjoying this series and can't wait for the next book. If you have not read a Patricia Waddell novel, pick up one for your own pleasure.

Patricia Waddell is an extremely talented author with an eye for detail. HE SAID NO holds you captive until the last page. The only disappointment I had was that the book had to end. It is a story full of everything a truly exceptional romance should have . . . sexual tension, comedy, sensuality, extraordinary characters and, last bu not least, a happy ending. Ms. Waddell's colorful descriptions of places and things are so complete you can actually visualize and feel them. I am always delighted to have the opportunity to review a good book, but I am honored when the book is as good as this one. The characters are multi-dimensional and unforgettable . . . you long to keep reading about them. This series has two more books, but Ms. Waddell has her work cut out for her if she's going to beat the characters in the first two, especially Granby and Catherine.
