    Synopsis

A contemporary romantic comedy where high heels meet hiking boots, self-help meets self-reliance...and old flames spark up nothing but trouble.

Having based her best-selling relationship book on her own personal experience with gorgeous, outdoorsy photojournalist Riley Davis--who stole her heart then skipped town--author Jayne Murphy organizes a workshop for dump-ees. But the "retreat" she's planned could be a disaster when she finds out that the leader for her group's week-long nature jaunt is Riley. Will their past attraction re-ignite?

    Library Journal

Hilarious, nonstop screwball comedy with zany, lovable characters. Plumley is the equal and more of Sue Civil-Brown and Rachel Gibson.

January 06, 2004: This was the stupidest book I have ever read in my life. Actually, I didn't even finish reading it-I have never stopped reading a book after starting it until this one. I gave it over 100 pages to get better and still nothing. The charachters were unlikeable and the way they always messed with those compacts was so corny! This was my first book to read by Lisa Plumly and I do not think I will ever buy another one. Read at your own risk!!!!

September 18, 2002: What a wonderful book! Lots of fun reading about Jayne in her stiletto heels learning about herself after writing HEARTBREAK 101 and Riley Davis, the cause of her heartbreak, in the wilderness of Arizona. Riley is a fun guy to watch change, too. Lots of secondary characters to get close to and enjoy. Good book and lots of laughs.
