August 17, 2004: I discovered Ms. Devine's books a few years ago and enjoyed the first ones immensely. I had to quit reading her though because i found that most of her plots and erotic scenes are almost identical copies from her eariler books. (she seems to use the same imagery over and over again) However, this book had a great plot and kept me guessing until the end.

June 05, 2004: Set in 1894, England. Very very good. Not only was this a good erotic & sensual story but a good mystery story as well. I did not want to put the book down. Can't wait for her next book.
