    Biography

Christine Feehan is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than twenty novels, including Wild Rain and the Dark Series, as well as numerous novellas, including The Twilight Before Christmas and "After the Music" in A Very Gothic Christmas, both available from Pocket Books. She lives in Cobb, California. Visit her website at www.christinefeehan.com.

Before she discovered romantic fiction, Melanie George was the CEO of an executive-search consulting firm. Her most important job, however, has always been that of mother, to both a much-adored son and two precious dogs. When she is not writing, she is trying to restore her hundred-year-old house and has come to the conclusion that paint speckles will more than likely be a permanent part of her person. Melanie enjoys hearing from readers, and you can visit her website at www.melanie-george.com.

January 09, 2002: I bought this book as a HUGE fan of Melanie George, so I will tell you first that she continues to enthrall me and this novella was so moving. While not as humourous as her trademark dialog in the Devil series, she shows an inspiring depth in getting to the emotional level. Rachel came to Castle Glengarren in pain to lay to rest the only real loves she had ever known in her life, the ashes of her beloved parents. She would settle for no less than the type of love her parents had, and who but the original Lord of the Castle should come into her life over the centuries to awaken just that type of love. What can I say, I was moved, such a wonderful love, too good to be true and an evil force just itching to tear it all away. Melanie George does not disappoint. Now as to After The Music - This was my first introduction to Christine Feehan so I have to go by this alone. I can only say, if you are looking for hot and steamy the sexual tension between Dillon and Jess was HOT and the love scenes did not disappoint. I did enjoy it, but frankly, I couldn't wait to get to the second story, by Melanie.
