November 03, 2006: Christmas and romance?what a wonderful combination. The stories in ?I?ll Be Home for Christmas? go beyond the usual hearth and home variety and are sure to warm you to your toes. I enjoyed them all. ........ Linda Lael Miller?s ?Christmas of the Red Chiefs? has a traditional tone and an endearing family atmosphere. Joe Courtland is a real keeper........ Catherine Mulvany?s ?Once upon a Christmas? is a magical, flirty tale............ My favorite stories, though, are Julie Leto?s ?Meltdown? and Roxanne St Claire?s ?You Can Count On Me.? The sexy, exotic characters are absolutely scrumptious........... Plus, St Claire adds a tingling thrill to the Christmas season with a fabulous New York setting, a gorgeous, passionate foreigner, and a bullet catcher heroine. (I?ve been anticipating the arrival of a female bodyguard, and I wasn?t disappointed).......... Without a doubt, this is a fun read that?s definitely a terrific jump-start to the holiday season.
