    Synopsis

Tormented by an ancient prophecy that he will rescue a blonde woman with the knowledge of the future from Loch Ness, immortal Lachlan believes he has found that woman, a 20th century teacher pulled through time back to 1566.

Falling into the loch is a shock to Amber, but coming to and seeing Lachlan and his clansmen is even more of a surprise. At first Amber believes she has come upon a reenactment, but she quickly realizes that somehow she has been swept back in time. But for what purpose?

The overwhelming attraction between Amber and Lachlan troubles Lachlan’s friends who worry about what will happen when Amber learns of the legend and of their immortality. There are old powers and ruthless enemies waiting to conquer and destroy Lachlan’s clan.

March 28, 2004: The plot is great: very interesting and keeps you reading. The rest, well...I wish it hadn't jumped around so much, and that it wasn't written so 'simply'.
