      Synopsis

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Blood Brothers and The Hollow—the conclusion to the electrifying trilogy of three men and three women who join forces—and hearts—to battle the ultimate evil.

      Kristin Ramsdell - Library Journal

Nearly 21 years ago, on the seventh day of the seventh month, three young boys swore a blood oath on top of the Pagan Stone in the woods near Hawkins Hollow and unwittingly unleashed an imprisoned demon that returns to wreak increasingly deadly havoc on the town every seven years. With the evil assault beginning once more, the time has come to end the carnage. Now, the three who started it all, linked by fate to a trio of exceptional women, are determined to defeat the demon once and for all. Each couple, sharing similar mental gifts, has had a part to play in the "Sign of Seven" trilogy (see also Blood Brothers; The Hollow), but in this final installment, it's up to gambler Gage Turner and free-spirited Cybil Kinski, who have the gift of precognition, to administer the death blow, even though it means someone else must die. Blood, fire, brutal violation, and possession are tempered by strength, self-sacrifice, and love in this chilling, passionate romance. It is reminiscent of Roberts's "Three Sisters Island" trilogy but more intensely evil and violent. Roberts does a good job of bringing readers up to speed and tying up loose ends, but readers will benefit from experiencing the stories in order. Roberts lives in Keedysville, MD.

November 16, 2009: I loved this book! I loved the whole series! I was captivated by each of the three books, and I'm happy to say that all three of them are apart of my personal little library along with a lot of other Nora Roberts works.

The little boy demon actually had chills running up my spine. He was so disgustedly evil and perverted and everything else that you should expect from a demon.

The characters (in the whole series) were amazing, and when one of them had to face their fears, I cringed with them. I give this whole series five stars out of five. Another great series Ms. Nora Roberts.

I Also Recommend: Key of Trilogy Box Set (Key Trilogy Series), Circle Trilogy Boxed Set (Circle Trilogy Series), Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven Series #1), The Hollow (Sign of Seven Series #2).

July 16, 2009: I thought it was a wonderful book. I loved the characters. It was so easy to get lost in the book and forget about everything else. I found myself having a hard time putting it down. I just wanted to keep reading. It was a great ending to a magical trilogy. I loved the entire trilogy and plan on reading it again and again.
