      Synopsis

As Fred the Mermaid tries to fit in with her own kind, she finds herself hooked on both Artur, the High Prince of the undersea realm, and Thomas, a hunky marine biologist. She's also caught between two factions of merfolk: those happy with swimming under the radar-and those who want to bring their existence to the surface.

      Biography

When it comes to playful romances featuring vampires, werewolves, and Cyborgs, no one can touch the ultra-prolific MaryJanice Davidson. Her Undead Series is a wildly popular succession of books following Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor and her quest for love… and a great pair of shoes!

June 02, 2009: Fred is in the middle again and how fitting is that? She tries to see both sides but stands with her mermaid half but not tell them what to do. So she stands a lone, just she does for most things.

March 07, 2009: The Fred Bimm trilogy is a hoot. A very original take on the traditional mermaid. Funny and sarcastic. Too bad about no more books in the series, but the story stands well as a trilogy; no need to sequalize it infinitely. Maybe we'll see Fred in a few short stories.

Not a serious read, but fun and entertaining.

I Also Recommend: Undead and Unwed (Betsy Taylor Series #1), Derik's Bane, Jennifer Scales and the Ancient Furnace.
