June 10, 2009: I love Lynn Kurland writings and this book is as great as the other books she has written that I have read. It gives you ghosts and time travel, all in one book and I wanted so to step into the book and be a part of it. I love the characters and the description of the Scottish landscape. I will read it again in the future, so I can visit the past. I LOVED IT ! ! So will you.
I Also Recommend: A Dance through Time, A Garden in the Rain, Till There Was You.

July 18, 2006: The latest Romantic fantasy book from Lynn Kurland. The story is about Victoria McKinnon who was a sister of Thomas McKinnon (appeared in LK's previous book, 'My heart stood still'). Victoria is a fun, spirited young woman with determination. Her sister, Thomas had lent her an old english castle for her new show, Hamlet. One thing Thomas didn't tell her was, along with a perfect set for 'Hamlet', came a whole garrison of medieval ghosts!. On the top of that was Conner McDougal, a new laird of the keep who took one look at Victoria and decided he wanted her for his own rather than scared her away from his castle. The storyline was mainly about how the relationship grew between Victoria and the handsome ghosty laird.. and finally Victoria set out for a quest trying to be with a man she loved. The book is every entertaining if you're familiar with LK's previous works.. although I must say, it a little lacks of some charms just like we saw in LK's 'Stardust of yesterday' or 'A dance through time'. However, if you never know Lynn Kurland and just browsing around for something fun to read, just don't buy this book.. at least.. not yet. It can be very confusing when stands alone, with all the older characters from her previous book popping up. But if you want to try, I recommend you to start out with, at least, a couple of LK's previous work especially, 'A Dance through time' and 'My heart stood still'... and a couple of her novellas if you can find it, until you get a grip of what's going on which will ensures you the maximum entertaining... But by overall, although it's not the best of Lynn Kurland, it's still a good company for your resting day.
