April 26, 2009: I'm a fan of Katie MacAlister. I adore her vampire and dragon series, but this made me want to swear off reading any if not all non-paranormal books. I used to be a firm believer in judging a book by it's cover(if it has a good cover then it has to be good), but I have finally learned my lesson.

The main character made me want to maim myself to have something less painful to do. I know, why not stop reading it and get something pleasant to read? I foolishly thought she was going to get better(it didn't).

Please, save yourself the heartache of a painfully selfish, horribly annoying main character and pick up a different book. Worse $8 spent in my life.

February 16, 2009: Boring, predictable and the heroine is really lame. Don't give up on this author. She does have some good books out there. But, the majority of them are best kept on the bookshelf at the bookstore.
