Once Upon A Dream is an amusing, witty, and entertaining paranormal romance that will provide vast pleasure to sub-genre fans as well as lovers of contemporary tales. The story line is fun whether it occurs in the mundane realm or the subconscious dream world. The lead couple is a deserving duo who readers will hope attain lasting happiness while the secondary cast cements the tale with humor and depth. Jennifer Archer hits a bulls-eye with this sensational story.

April 29, 2001: The women of Robin's family had been cursed to die before thier thirtieth birthday. Hoping to break the curse, Robin Wise went into seclusion, never leaving her house for any reason. It had been a very lonely time until Alex Simon moved into the house next door. Alex had moved to Texas to be closer to his sister and her son. He didn't expect to be constantly defending himself from his neighbor's tiny schnauzer. However, Alex had to admit the confrontations gave him a chance to spend time with his beautiful neighbor. Robin and Alex couldn't deny the attraction between them. Yet the family curse prevents Robin from entering a relationship with Alex. Both are disappointed and frustrated when the dreams begin. Dreams that are vivid, full of heat, danger and passion. Can Alex and Robin overcome their fears? Or will passionate dreams and family curses keep them apart forever? I thoroughly enjoyed Once Upon A Dream. I found it to be remarkably written, bringing depth and life to marvelous characters. Adding to this already wonderful novel were the non-human secondary characters, which include a pesky blue butterfly. Ms. Archer's latest novel is superb, making a place for this talented author on my auto-buy list. Not to be missed.
