June 21, 2007: I loved this book! Great hero, great story line, great humor. Rafe was a wonderfully poignant character, well-matched by the strong-willed Helen. Typical Sandra Hill humor. I wish there were a sequel.

      Sooooo Disappointingby Anonymous

June 30, 2003: I was very disappointed with this novel. The hero, supposedly trying to hide a wounded hear, tormets the heroine with particularly vile comments. Amazing that the heroine, who is supposed to be so tough, allows his general meanness to continue. The book goes from bad to worse as it progresses. I genuinely hoped that the heroine would not stay with the hero, a man who is a step above from being an abuser. Great hero Sandra!
