December 06, 2007: I laughed! I cried! I cheered! I cussed! All of them for and against the heroes of this book. Joanne is soooo wonderfully a kick butt woman, but she could use to be alittle less independent and let her friends help her a little more. David needs to be a little less moody when things don't suit his feelings. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and bed through out the entire time.

November 03, 2007: I liked this book, as I have liked the five previous books in this series. The take on the weather and its caretakers is novel and refreshing, and Caine's writing style breezy and straightforward. The dialogue's snappy, Joanne is my kind of heroine - spunky but definitely feminine 'she loves hot shoes AND fast cars, yes!', and as for her Djinn partner, David, well, read it and see for yourself. They're great together, and by that I don't mean smarmy. The tension is non-stop but there are moments of sweet emotion that are worth it. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
