      Synopsis

Immortal Darkyn Lord Valentin Jaus and landscape artist Liling Harper are two lost souls. Brought together by fate, bound together by passion, Valentin and Liling find solace in each other's arms. But the ties that bind them are deeper—and more dangerous—than either of them can possibly imagine...

December 07, 2008: I just love Val and I felt so terrible for him after reading Thierry's story in Private Demon. But not to worry because Val meets Liling in his story and she is a perfect match for him. I loved her character development. However, I didn't really like Val doing a 180 on me and showing this crazy dominating side. It wasn't what I was expecting and I wasn't terribly thrilled by it. But it was still good, and that obviously fit Liling's personality. Also, the ending with Alex's brother, John, made me want to scream. The Darkyn series is continually getting better and I'm sad it will be coming to an end so soon.
