April 13, 2009: Weak characters, transparent plot. Some good dialogue but overall more of a twinkie kind of book. Nothing that will keep you up turning pages.

April 05, 2009: I had never read a romance novel before and my friend happened to have a copy of You Slay Me. She was done with it and recommended that I check it out. I never turn down a book, so I accepted, not really sure what I was getting myself into. But from the first page I was enthralled. I had to figure out what was going to happen next and I loved the humor that Katie used for Aisling. It was fantastic. Drake was dishy beyond comparison and her newfie slash demon Jim was my favorite. I read this one and Fire Me Up to my boyfriend and he loved them, begging me not to stop reading, no matter how sore my voice was.
A must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance and a sexy dragon in a man suit!I Also Recommend: Captain's Fury (Codex Alera Series #4), Hard Day's Knight, Fire Me Up (Aisling Grey, Guardian Series #2), The Corset Diaries.
