      Synopsis

Undead fathers really do know best...

To prove her journalistic chops, Libby Monroe ends up in Broken Heart, Oklahoma, chasing down bizarre rumors of strange goings-on—and finding vampires, lycanthropes, and zombies. She never expects to fall in lust with one of them, but vampire/single dad Ralph Genessa is too irresistible. Only the town is being torn in two by a war between the undead—and Libby may be the only thing that can hold Broken Heart together...

April 06, 2009: I have thoroughly enjoyed the Broken Heart or Mother Vampire Series (as I like to call it) but this one was the best (so far). In the first book the author introduces the characters, the story of broken heart and manages to squeeze in a hot connection. In the second book we see Broken Heart from another citizen who inevitably develops a bond with the outcast in BH and finds a cure to the deadly vampire disease going around. In the third book, the author takes the story a completely new direction with a new obstacle and introduces the new queen. Before reading the fourth book I was considering that this author must be running out of things to talk about but she didn't disappoint. In this book, a new paranormal is added to the scene along with an intense animal magnetism between the new couple. Between the introduction of a dragon and the intensity of the new relationship, this was an awesome book. I am very pleased with this series for the fact that while it is based in the same place there is always something new happening in this town. I have already pre-ordered the next book and can't wait for it to come out. Love it!

I Also Recommend: One Bite with a Stranger (Others Series #1), I'm the Vampire, That's Why, I'm the Vampire, That's Why, I'm the Vampire, That's Why, Don't Talk Back to Your Vampire.
